Basic personal information including name, contact data including email, and date of birth is collected at the time of membership in the American Rose Society. This information is stored on a secure server that hosts the membership database and is used only for American Rose Society member services.

Visitors to www.rose.org may voluntarily provide personal contact information in order to be included in American Rose Society e-newsletter or other e-communications. This information is secure and never shared. Individuals may opt out of receiving any electronic communication from the American Rose Society at any time by notifying our membership department at the address below or by clicking the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of each email.

Additionally, some information is registered from visitors to www.rose.org for website traffic tabulation. This information is secure, stored for a period up to 14 months and is not shared except as may be required by law.

Individual data like email or IP addresses is not retained unless a user subscribes to receive direct email from the website.
