This is my first year as the newly appointed ARS National Chair for Roses in Review. Let me be the first to tell you that I have full confidence that you will do your patriotic duty as diligent rose growers in these United States of America by faithfully rating all your newly grown rose cultivars so that we can all pass on this valuable knowledge to our fellow enthusiasts across this great nation. All your reports will allow the ARS to help fulfill its educational mission by printing the 2026 Annual Handbook for Selecting Roses that all of us rely on and which guides most of our members across the country. Therefore, I first want to give a big thanks to you, the reviewers who have provided, and will soon be once again providing, the input to fulfill this grand project!
